The Third team play in Division E of the Moore and Smalley Palace Shield. 2003 was the teams first season in this league and they were unlucky to finish the sesaon just outside the promotion places. They will be looking to earn that promotion in 2004.

Matt Purcell Captain
Right hand opening bat, Right arm seam bowler.
Matt will taking over as third team captain in 2004 and will looking to continue the development of the team. Matt scored over 500 runs with the third team in 2003 as well taking 9 wickets with the ball. He also claimed three league victims behind the stumps.
Graham "Scatman" Tindall Captain
Age 54ish, R/H batsman, R/A medium bowler. Graham has stepped down as captain after he developed the team into a more competitive unit that brought the Fylde League First Division Championship to the club for the first time in the club's history. His experience will be invaluable to all players in the third eleven.
Mike Hartley
R/H batsman. Mike has established himself as a leading run scorer in the third XI.
Simon Owen
R/H batsman. Simon is an established and experienced player in the third team.
Nigel Connolly
R/H batsman, R/A bowler. A former first XI player and great clubman, Nigel has overcome serious illness and has come back to play cricket for fun and enjoyment.
