The Second XI

The St. Annes second eleven play in Division Two of the Northern League.

Andy Kellett has captained the team since 2003 and led them to their first ever Division Two championship repeating that success in 2005. 2006 saw the side finsh third in the league.

Player Profiles 2007

Andrew Kellet Captain
Age 37, R/H batsman. In his first season as captain of the second eleven Andy guided the team to their first ever league championship title. He is a committed player capable of high scores at any level of the game.

David Bartholomew right hand bat and right arm off spin bowler. "Barty" returned to St Annes in 2003 after playing for Blackpool. His experience is a great asset for our younger developing players. Barty also plays for the Lancashire Fifty+ XI.

Neil Bradley
Age 35, R/H batsman. "Peel" has played all his cricket at St. Annes and was a regular first XI player until 2000 when he dropped down to the second XI. He has been a regular and prolific scorer for his side.

David Watson Wicketkeeper
Watty has played for the second XI cricket for a number of years as both wicketkeeper and batsman.

Richard Thomas right arm medium pace bowler and right hand top order batsman. Richard is our Junior coach. Having played his cricket mainly at Fleetwood he came to St Annes in 2003 and played for both the first and second XIs taking 28 wickets in his first season here.
