Welcome to this example of a web page with a heading at the top of the page and table of contents bar on the left. This page type is ideal if your page will have lots of different sections and headings. Visitors to your page can jump to the sections they want to read by clicking on the section title in the contents listing rather than reading and scrolling down through masses of text. Personal club member pages are free. There may be a small charge for commercial web page subscribers.
Getting Started
Think about the information you are going to pass on to visitors to your page.
Remember, what you include on your page could potentially be seen by anyone so don't include anything that you don't want the whole wide world to know about!
Adding Pictures
How can I add a picture to my page? If the picture is already on your computer, simply e-mail it to us as an attachment to a message, or if it is already on the Internet, give us the web page address e.g www.mypicture.com/here.html
What if I only have a photo? No problem. Just write your name and address on the back of the picture and leave it in the club membership box, addressed to the Webmaster@StAnnessCC. Your photo will be scanned and placed on your web page and the photo returned to you.
What Can I Do On The Web?
What sort of things can you put on the web? Well just about anything you want. It could be a page telling the world how wonderful you are, what an asset you are to the Human race or maybe you want to tell people about your hobbies or interests. Perhaps you want to tell people about your favourite websites or maybe you want to sell some of your family antiques. You can do or say whatever you want as long it is fit for a family audience!
Getting Hits
How do I get people to see my wonderful new home page? You can submit your web page address (URL) to the leading search engines. We recommend Yahoo, Alta Vista, Lycos.
Making Changes To My Page
What if I need to update my page? No problem, just e-mail the changes to us.
