Photography Policy
St.Annes Cricket Club is keen to promote positive images of Young People playing Cricket and is not banning the use of photographic or video recording equipment.
However the Club must protect the interests of our Young People.
The Executive Committee has agreed that the following procedures must be followed:
- For coaching purposes the consent of a child's parents/guardians/carers must be obtained prior to any filming taking place by completion of the appropriate form. The video must be stored in a secure place. The Parents/Guardians/Carers and Young person must provide written consent if used for analysis.
- The Club does not allow the photographing of child/children either by camera, video or mobile phone or any other means unless the prior written consent of the Committee parents/guardians/carers is obtained.
- Before any filming or photographing takes place the child's written consent must be obtained.
- Images must convey the best principles and aspects of Cricket such as dress, fairness and safety.
- Images must not be sexual or exploitative in nature nor open to obvious misinterpretation or misuse.
- Images must only be taken by authorised persons i.e. Parents/guardians/carers or authorised press.
- All images must be securely stored.
- If a Young Person(s) is named in a publication his/her photograph must not be used.
- If a photograph is used the Young Person(s) must not be used.
- Inappropriate use of images must be reported to the Club Welfare Officer.
