It is with deep regret that I inform you of my intention to sever my 17 year playing association at St Annes CC.
There are numerous memories I will take with me, most notably three Northern League titles (1996,2005,2007) the Lancashire Cup at Old Trafford (1997) two Vaux Samson Cups (1994,1999)and the Matthew Brown Cup (1991) too name but a few.
I believe there are solid foundations in place which will ensure St Annes will be a major force not just in the Northern League but throughout the county for many years to come.
Also, Duncan (Whalley) will have the opportunity to freshen things up at the top of the order and reduce the average age of the side - once Russ ' krakatoa ' Bradley calls time on his career !
After much consideration I have decided to accept a fresh challenge at Blackpool CC. Hopefully my wealth of experience will have a major impact and ensure the development/progression of the many talented youngsters at the club.
Finally, I would just like to express my gratitude to everybody connected with St Annes CC and wish you continued success in the future.
