Reduced to one senior specialist batsman, St Annes' ten men dug deep to record their second win in three games. Ian Howe again bowled with great heart and control to record 7-23 in 12 unchanged overs. Ashley Ward continued his improved form with 1-11 from 7 overs whilst Nigel Connolly wrapped up the innings with 2-6. Oncew again the fielding was terrific with keeper Roy Male, Ashley Ward and Andy Hurst outstanding.

At 3-2, the reply looked bleak but stand-in opener skipper Tim Rawstron struck a quick 17 before Nigel Connolly(21) and Luke Wilks(18) compiled a sensible stand that brought them to the edge of victory. Andy Hurst (11 not out) completed the job.

St Annes take 18 points, Fleetwood take 2 points.
