St Annes made the trip to the small high scoring ground at Carnforth and didn't disappoint by making (apparently) a league record score of 325 for 5. All batsmen except Russ Bradley made quick runs. Adrian 'Mr Burns' Darlington made 75, Ian Austin 69, Sub-professional Saeed Anwar Jnr 45, Stephen Twist 41no, Gareth Evans 37 and Jon Musgrave 21 no. A healthy number of no-balls also helped the cause. Carnforth never looked likely to make the runs and St Annes unlikely to bowl them out on a good batting wicket. We came away with our 5th winning draw of the season.
