| Match Report
St. Annes 2nds made a winning start to the season in a comfortable victory at Leyland. St. Annes won the toss and asked Leyland to bat first. In a dull first innings, Leyland manged 95 all out in 51 overs. Highlights were Dave Booth's 4 wickets and an excellent wicket keeping display from Paul Williams who was deputising for Dave 'kylie' Watson. St. Annes then completed the easy victory losing 5 wickets in the process. Dave Bartholomew hit the winning runs with a six from the first ball he received.
