| Match Report
St Annes 2nds game at Leyland Motors was delayed for 30 mins due to overnight rain despite the new covers on view. Andy Kellet won the toss for the 4th game in succession to put the home side into bat. A prolonged accurate spell of bowling from Rick Thomas who took out 4 of the top 5 batsmen to leave him figures of 4-40 off 14 overs. Motors struggled to 130 all out in conditions of ice station zebra proportions, T. Reece top scored with 44. In reply St.Annes made a poor effort of chasing the required runs slumping to 74-8 before a late flurry of runs from Rick Thomas with 23 and a determined innings of 30 from Andy Kellet left St Annes holding out for a draw on 107-9. St.Annes will be looking to get back to winning ways next week at home to Kendal before the big clash with Morecambe the following weekend.
