| Match Report
A diciplined team performance saw the thirds cruise home against new boys White Coppice. An excellent team fielding performace began with impressive new ball spells from Andy Taylor and Big Nige Connelly, who conceded just one run from an edge over point. An excellent diving catch at square leg from Peter Jackson was the highlight of the fielding.
St Annes then lost David Hartley in the first over before a solid stand between Paul Williams and the reliable Tim Bernstein steadied the ship. A boundary four from Peter Jackson saw the thirds home by 6 wickets.
