Match Report

A poor approach and wasteful fielding that saw several catches grassed cost the thirds ain a rain affected match. Great spells of 6-41 from Ian Palmer and 1-20 from Ian Howe on debut were wasted by some shoddy and uncommitted fielding.

The batting proved a disaster with a lack of application from all except Simon Owen with a gutsy 36.

Promotion now looks unlikely unless this side shows a dramatic improvement.
