| Match Report
A poor batting performace cost the thirds in a match they should have won easily. In the field St. Annes were excellent, with some superb catching form Tim Bernstein and Graham Tindall in the outfield and two great catches from keeper Roy Male. Stuart Aris led the bowling efforts with 4-10, ably supported by Matt Dougall 3-26 and debutant Seve Hurst with 2-14. Left with 54 overs to overhaul the modest target of 67, the top 6 never got going, with only Nige Bernstein and Graham Tindall offering some resistance. A late flurry from Stuart Aris was not enough and the thirds slid to an embarrasing defeat.
