Match Report
Comprehensive Defeat

After apparently doing well to bowl Chorley out for 137 St Annes collapsed to one of the worst defeats in the clubs Northern League history.

St Annes won the toss and put Chorley into bat. Captain Steven Twist and Haroon Patel both took four wickets as St Annes bowled Chorley out for what seemed a low score of just 137 in just 52 overs.

Chorley professional Stephen John backed up by Bill Smith then set about the home teams batting and wickets tumbled and in just 21 overs St Annes had been bowled out for 35.

The team will need to put this result behind them as they prepare for next weeks game away against league leaders Netherfield.
