Asked to bat first, St Annes IV relied heavily on another magnificent effort from Nigel Bernstein (60).Unfortunately neither Gary Woods (15) Vijay Chandrasekhar (11) nor Adrian Speakman (12) could capitalise on good starts as the middle order subsided.
Consequently the total fell at least fifty runs short and despite two early breakthroughs from the tireless Michael Harris, Postal reached their target comfortably enough.
A spirited performance in the field from a makeshift side was the one bright note from the afternoon
