| Match Report
St Annes remain the Division 2 form team as they stretched their unbeaten run to 6 games with this third successive win.
Tim Rawstron's decision to bowl first was amply rewarded with a solid all-round contribution not just by the bowlers but also with a razor sharp fielding display. Nigel Connolly with 2-8 in 8 hostile overs and Mick Auty with 3-16 were the pick of the bowlers.
The batting reply did not start well and with the in-form John Dougall (19) out with the score at 24 for 3 the result looked less sure. However, the vast experience of Nigel Connolly (18) and Mick Renshaw (35 not out) completely took over as they cruised home in entertaining style.
