| Match Report
After being put in by St Annes , Fleetwood set about posting a substantial total with Peter Ashfield playing some explosive shots in a quick 74 . After the fall of his wicket with the score on 85 there was then a good stand by Lee Jones and Matt Clarke of 60. St Annes to their credit stuck to their task and eventually bowled them all out with skipper Graham Tindall taking 7 wickets including a hat trick. Michael Baer also took his first Fylde League Div 1 wickets .
In reply St Annes made a sound start with an opening stand of 49 with Adam Duxbury scoring 37. Tim Berstein went on to score 25 but from 49 for 1 the score went to 72 for 5 and they were then unable to reach the Fleetwood score. However they did continue to look for bonus points and Nigel Bernstein 26n.o. and Graham Tindall 38 put on 56 and took the side to safety.
