Match Report A match in which St Annes totally dominated their lowly opponents to move into the next round of the Lancashire Cup. Only lower order batsman Smoult with 17 runs saved extras from being the top scorer. St Annes bowled 19 maidens in the innings and all the bowlers acquitted themselves creditably. In reply Darlington smashed 31 in 19 minutes with five fours and it was all over inside 16 overs. Another professional performance from the young St Annes side who now face Kearsley or Little Hulton in the next round.
