1966
1966 was a memorable season for two of the St Annes bowlers for it was in the first game of the season that they took on Darwen and dismissed them for just six runs. As local sports writer Ian Jowitt of the Lytham St Annes Express wrote
"Records are, of course, meant to be broken, but for them to be smashed by St Annes and on the first day of the season - well that was a lot to expect".
John Kettlestring took six wickets for one run with his tyeam mate Brian Standing taking the other five for just five runs.
